The American Heart Association digital resuscitation portfolio is the preferred solution to uniquely and efficiently deliver safe and effective CPR quality improvement.

Our digital programs — deeply rooted in the latest science — lead healthcare organizations on an immediate journey to high-quality and verified CPR competence to maximize lifesaving outcomes.

The time for digital is now.

RQI Partners, a partnership between the American Heart Association and Laerdal Medical, is dedicated to improving survival from cardiac arrest by bringing new solutions to resuscitation education and quality improvement.

In the United States, only 25% of patients survive an in-hospital cardiac arrest; just 10% survive out-of-hospital emergencies. High-quality CPR is the single highest determinant of survival from cardiac arrest.

“With RQI, you almost become entirely retrained on CPR because now you’re doing it at the right rate and depth — it’s like a whole new ball game.”

“I’ve visibly noticed our ventilation rates decrease and move into very safe zones over time — and this has occurred without prompting or specific focus. RQI has lowered our ventilation rates, and our muscle memory has shifted.”

“It’s the idea that my employees get to touch, see and perform high-quality CPR every three months — regardless of their schedule, when they’re working, or which patients they’re treating. Their ability to maintain mastery and proficiency, for me, is what sells this program.”
