HeartCode Cognitive LaptopThe American Heart Association’s HeartCode programs deliver quality resuscitation training through a more flexible delivery method. This method gives providers and administrators more control of their time, schedules and resources. By combining comprehensive online learning with hands-on skills practice and testing, HeartCode delivers consistent, quality resuscitation training across a healthcare organization at a pace that is right for every individual.

Adopters of HeartCode say their healthcare providers are more confident and prepared for a resuscitation event using the HeartCode learning method. According to a recent study, HeartCode with a voice-assisted manikin (VAM) for skills practice improved and retained nursing students’ CPR psychomotor skills more effectively than HeartCode with an Instructor and helped retain those skills.*

HeartCode is HLC Validated. As a result of this HLC Validation, authorized users of both HealthStream and the RQI portfolio of programs may gain access to RQI programs, namely RQI and HeartCode, through the HLC.

HeartCode creates a realistic training environment which provides immediate feedback. Modules for BLS, ACLS and PALS courses provide health systems with flexibility in their approach to training and prepare learners to provide effective CPR under stressful real-world conditions.

Introducing: HeartCode Complete

BSW HeartCodeFor the first time, healthcare institutions can purchase every element of HeartCode – cognitive learning, hands-on skills training, and an AHA eCard –  in one place with the NEW HeartCode Complete program from the American Heart Association and Laerdal Medical.

HeartCode Complete can include BLS, ACLS and PALS training through online learning modules and eSimulations available via your organization’s LMS or the RQI 1Stop Learning Program. Learners will also perform compressions and ventilations on an adult/child and infant voice-assisted manikin at their facility’s RQI simulation station to earn their eCards.

HeartCode Complete provides users with detailed debriefing after each online learning module and real-time audio and visual feedback during skills sessions to ensure learners are receiving the highest-quality training possible.

Contact your RQI Partners representative for more information on how HeartCode Complete can help improve resuscitation training at your institution.
