RQI Lighthouse Network

RQI Lighthouse organizations exemplify resuscitation excellence. An RQI Lighthouse designation means an organization is dedicated to raising CPR standards through education and collaboration with healthcare entities throughout the world.

Lighthouse organizations get access to:

Lighthouse Program Criteria

Silver

Our entry-level membership reflects the commitment organizations have to improving their employees’ CPR standards. Silver members must demonstrate the following:

  • 85% annual compliance rate, measured through RQI 1Stop or another third-party learning management system. Silver members must maintain this target in at least three out of the previous four quarters.

Gold

Gold Lighthouse Program members work hard to achieve better compliance rates, improve institutional policies, and improve patient outcomes and cost savings. In addition to meeting all Silver criteria, Gold members must demonstrate the following:

  • 90% compliance rate in at least three out of four quarters in RQI 1Stop
  • Enforcement and sanctions (i.e., corrective action) when appropriate
  • Implementation of hospital policy stating that the RQI Partners program is the required standard for maintaining CPR competency
  • Improvement of patient outcomes, cost savings and/or compliance improvements with the implementation of RQI Partners programs
  • Use of multiple RQI Partners programs, where applicable
  • Use of analytics or equivalent data insights to empower and support implementing new guidelines and disseminating new knowledge based on evidence-based practice

Platinum

Our Platinum Lighthouse Program members represent the highest level of commitment to improving patient outcomes through improved CPR standards. Our Platinum members meet all Silver and Gold criteria and must demonstrate the following:

  • 95% compliance rate in at least three out of four quarters in RQI 1Stop
  • Utilization of all RQI programs, including BLS, ALS, PALS and NRP
  • One or more of the following (or international equivalent where applicable):
    • Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade
    • Magnet status
    • Recognition in the GWTG program, supported by performance data (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
    • Leader in innovation with a position dedicated to transformational change

Silver

RQI Lighthouse Organizations

The following organizations have been recognized for demonstrating best practices with RQI Solutions. They advocate for lifesaving RQI programs, represent quality and resuscitation excellence, and can serve as a referral or consultant for other organizations.
