Providing High-Quality Neonatal Resuscitation Training
Every Baby. Every Time.
RQI Partners collaborates with  the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)  to provide the highest-quality neonatal resuscitation training program called  Resuscitation Quality Improvement for Neonatal Resuscitation Program® — (RQI for NRP®). The RQI for NRP program  is tailored specifically for providers who care for newborns at the time of delivery with the aim of improving survival outcomes.
The expectation to provide the right care at the right time is constantly changing for healthcare providers. Digital health investments require both innovation and organizational transformation. The difference between resuscitation and high-quality resuscitation is survival. Every baby. Every time.
Two Delivery Formats
RQI® for NRP®
RQI for NRP is a low-dose, high-frequency and self-directed quarterly training method at the point-of-care. Learners have access to an on-site simulation station dedicated to maintaining high-quality neonatal positive pressure ventilation skills. This simulation station, designed for neonates, provides a realistic environment for healthcare professionals to practice real-world neonatal resuscitations.
NRP ILT
NRP Instructor-Led Training (ILT) is a traditional instructor delivered  training format. In this delivery method, healthcare providers complete a cognitive online learning assessment then attend an in-person skills training session conducted by certified NRP instructors.
Why NRP?
NRP is designed for those who care for newborns in the delivery room, maternal/child units or the newborn nursery. NRP course aims to:
- Improve the quality of neonatal resuscitation.
- Meet performance expectations or attain hospital privileges or credentialing for staff who attend births or care for newborns.
- Serve as a quality management strategy to improve the process and outcome of neonatal resuscitation.
- Meet regulatory agency requirements for evidence of an education program that supports competency-based practice of neonatal resuscitation.
Who Would Benefit From NRP Curricula?
The NRP curriculum is designed for healthcare professionals involved in any aspect of newborn resuscitation.
20,000 active instructors
200,000 providers complete the course every year
The NRP 8th edition learning platform is available through the new NRP Learning Platform (NRP LP).
