Parkland Memorial was one of the initial “beta” sites when RQI for NRP launched in 2021. RQI for NRP is a low-dose, high-frequency and self-directed quarterly training method at the point-of-care.
Learners have access to an on-site simulation station dedicated to maintaining high-quality neonatal positive pressure ventilation skills. This simulation station, designed for neonates, provides a realistic environment for healthcare professionals to practice real-world neonatal resuscitations.

About Parkland Memorial
Parkland Memorial first opened its doors in 1894 and is now one of the largest public hospital systems in the country. The hospital averages more than 1 million outpatient visits annually.
Services include a Level I Trauma Center, the first verified burn center in North Texas and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The system also includes a network of community-based health centers, including primary care and women’s clinics, and numerous outreach and education programs. Parkland is the primary teaching hospital for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
